Terms of Use.
The ground rules, in plain English. Last updated June 2026.
1. What this service is
introduction.com.au provides B2B research and introduction services: identifying potential counterparties against a client's brief and facilitating warm, mutually-agreed introductions. Using this site or submitting a brief means accepting these terms.
2. What we are not
We are not licensed business brokers, financial advisers, M&A advisers, lawyers, accountants or migration agents, and nothing we provide is financial, legal, tax, investment or migration advice. Where your matter touches those areas — including any introduction involving investment, acquisition or divestment — engage the appropriate licensed professionals. We make introductions; we do not negotiate, structure, document or transact deals.
3. Introductions, not endorsements
An introduction reflects our good-faith research against your brief. It is not a warranty, endorsement or verification of any counterparty's solvency, capability, licensing or conduct. Due diligence remains entirely yours, and any agreement you reach is between you and the counterparty alone.
4. No outcome guarantees
We do not guarantee that a search will produce introductions, that introductions will produce meetings, or that meetings will produce agreements. What we commit to — diligence, discretion, both-sides briefing — is set out in each engagement's written scope.
5. Engagements & fees
Paid work begins only after a written scope and fee are agreed. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, we act for the briefing client and take no undisclosed fees or commissions from the other side of an introduction.
6. Confidentiality
Briefs are handled as described in our Privacy Policy: identity disclosed only with approval, NDAs available, no resale or pooling of briefs. The same courtesy is expected in return for counterparties we introduce to you.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, whose guarantees are not excluded), we're not liable for loss arising from dealings with introduced parties, reliance on introductions as endorsements, or decisions made without professional advice. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to re-supplying the services.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version lives at this address with its date above.
